To Hell and Back for Recovery

Forty RAI members and supporters took part in the Hell and Back Endurance Challenge held on Saturday, 17 June 2017 in Kilruddery Estate, Bray, Co. Wicklow.

On the hottest day of the year so far, they climbed mountains, crawled through bogs, crossed rivers and lakes, and conquered an excruciating range of man-made obstacles – all in the name of recovery. There was one injury on the day – a twisted ankle – but everyone else completed the gruelling course.

Official Launch of Recovery Academy of Ireland

Academy gives voice to people in recovery from addiction

The Recovery Academy of Ireland was launched in City Hall, Dublin on Wednesday, 23 November 2016 to a standing-room only crowd. Its primary aim is to support people in recovery from addiction and their friends and families, promote the concept of recovery and advocate on behalf of those in recovery.

Newsletter: RecovEU Final Conference

On the 3rd and 4th November the RECOVEU Final Conference took place at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. The two day conference served as a fertile ground upon which all who took part were able to plant ideas, question established practices and suggest new avenues regarding adults in addiction recovery.
