The Institute for Education Policy Research (IEPR) is an academic research centre located within the Faculty of Business, Education and Law at Staffordshire University. The Institute comprises leading academics, research fellows, visiting professors, former headteachers and other professionals from across the field of education. Staff are involved in a range of teaching programmes including foundation, bachelor, masters and doctoral degrees, and our courses are highly rated by UK professional bodies including Ofsted and the Quality Assurance Agency.

Soilse, (Gaelic for ‘light’) was established in 1992 as a drug rehabilitation programme using adult educational methodologies to secure social inclusion for addicts. Soilse is based in Dublin’s North Inner City which arguably has the highest level of heroin use in Europe. Soilse has two facilities, one which stabilises active drug abusers and prepares them for detox and a second for social insertion. They work with approximately 150-200 people per year, all who have endured prolonged drug dependency and social marginalisation. Soilse has a Service Users Charter and has service users involved with the organisation at all levels.
The St. Dimitrie Basarabov Program was founded in Cluj-Napoca, Romania in 2000 by Floyd Frantz, a missionary through the Orthodox Christian Mission Center in San Augustin, Florida, USA. The St Dimitrie Program is now part of “Christiana” – a Philanthropical, Medical and Christian Association.
SANSAT has operated in Rome for 30 years. It has 150 social operators in different fields (psychologists, educators, trainers, care assistants). SANSAT is an ISO 9001 certified organisation and has implemented Management Control. It is founder of the Association of Social Enterprises ‘Città Visibile’ (visible city), created to promote innovation in the social sector, and of the Consortium Antares, 10 cooperatives brought together to promote and manage projects and activities in the social sector.
SANSAT organises the annual Master ‘Psychology of the Community and Learning Processes’ in collaboration with the University of Rome La Sapienza and has a steady relationship with the University of Chicago's De Paul for a Service Learning Project for students studying Italian language and culture.
